013: Adventurous Convening – with Nick Forster

In times of intense polarization across our country, we need people who have the courage and the ingenuity to get people to come into the same room who may have very different points of view and yet can be inspired to find a new direction together.  Our guest in this episode, Nick Forster, years ago found an innovative way to do just that.  We invite you to hear his story.  

Nick Forster began his career as a professional musician more than 30 years ago. He is a founding member of the world renowned bluegrass band, Hot Rize, one of the most influential bands in bluegrass history.  In 1991, Nick and his wife Helen founded eTown, a nonprofit, nationally syndicated radio broadcast, multimedia and events production company.  

eTown’s mission is to educate, entertain and inspire a diverse audience through music and conversation in order to create a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable world.  Since 1991, eTown has produced musical, social and environmental programming to uplift and inspire listeners around the world.
